Our mission

We are bridging the gap for deserving student-athletes.

The Southern California Catholic Educational Excellence Foundation (SCCEEF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing tuition assistance to deserving high school-aged student-athletes across Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

Founded in 2018, SCCEEF was created to bridge the gap between the financial aid offered by Catholic high schools and the actual amount families in these counties can afford. Our mission is to ensure that scholar-athletes between the ages of 13 and 19 have access to a faith-based, college preparatory education—regardless of financial barriers—so they can grow academically, spiritually, and athletically within their communities.

Each year, SCCEEF awards scholarships based on defined academic achievement and character-based standards, with continued support tied to maintaining strong performance. We recognize the important role athletics play in developing discipline, teamwork, and leadership.

All donations are tax-deductible and can be directed toward individual students or entrusted to SCCEEF to distribute based on merit and need. Through the generosity of our donors, we are investing in the future of young scholar-athletes from Los Angeles and Orange Counties—empowering them to succeed in school, in sports, and in life while honoring the faith-based values at the heart of Catholic education.
